Getting Started

Do I need to install an app?

No. The bot runs inside Telegram (iOS, Android, desktop, web). The Manager Portal is a mobile-optimized web app at app.arklysolutions.com/portal — add it to your home screen for an app-like experience with offline access and bottom navigation. No app store required.

How does the free trial work?

You get 7 days of full access to every feature — no credit card needed. After the trial, device lookup (5/day), browsing, and safety tips stay free. AI troubleshooting, voice support, photo detection, system guides, job tracking, and reference guides require a subscription.

What languages are supported?

English, Spanish, French, Portuguese, Chinese, and Japanese. All menus, commands, and device content are translated on-the-fly.

Does ArklyTech work offline?

ArklyTech requires an internet connection since it runs through Telegram. However, device info loads quickly even on slow connections since it's text-based.

What devices are supported?

362 devices and 14 system platforms from 73 brands including Mercury, HID, Schlage, Von Duprin, Ubiquiti, Avigilon, Brivo, Gallagher, Salto, Genetec, dormakaba, Aiphone, Verkada, Suprema, ZKTeco, and more. New devices are added regularly, and you can suggest devices or systems using the /suggest command.

What if my device isn't listed?

Use /suggest to submit a device request — our team reviews suggestions regularly. You can also ask the AI general access control questions without a specific device.

Yes. Use the /suggest command to submit a device or system request. Our team reviews suggestions regularly and adds new entries to the knowledge base.

Can I use voice messages?

Yes. Send a voice note describing your issue and the bot transcribes it automatically, then routes it to AI support or device lookup.

Can ArklyTech help me study for NICET?

Yes — the /training command includes curated NICET ESS study resources covering all 4 certification levels, exam prep videos, and links to the official candidate handbook.

How does the AI troubleshooting work?

Describe your issue in plain language. The AI searches 37,000+ chunks of manufacturer documentation, then walks you through a step-by-step solution with terminal-level wiring details.

Billing & Plans

Can I cancel anytime?

Yes. No contracts, no commitments. Cancel your subscription at any time and you won't be charged again.

How do team plans work?

Subscribe to a multi-user plan, then use /invite to generate a link for your team. Each tech taps the link to activate their account under your subscription. Seat limits are enforced per plan.

What happens when my trial ends?

You keep access to device lookup and browsing for free. AI support, voice messages, photo detection, wiring diagrams, and stock inventory require a paid subscription.

Can I switch plans?

Yes. Upgrade or downgrade anytime from your subscription dashboard. Changes take effect on your next billing cycle.

Privacy & Security

Is my data secure?

Yes. API keys are encrypted, inputs are sanitized, webhook communications are signature-verified, and you can delete all your data anytime with /deleteme.

Can my manager see my job updates?

Only if you choose. When starting a job, you pick a contact to receive live updates. No one else sees your activity unless you share it.

How do I delete my data?

Send /deleteme in the bot. All your data — favorites, job history, conversation history, and subscription info — is permanently removed.

Are my conversations stored?

AI conversation history is saved to your account so you can review past sessions. You can archive or delete conversations from the portal's AI Support page. We never share your conversations with third parties.
