1. Information We Collect

When you use ArklyTech via Telegram, we collect:

• Telegram user data: User ID, username, first name — provided by Telegram when you message the bot.
• Usage data: Device lookups, support queries, commands used — logged for analytics and product improvement.
• Location data: Only when you explicitly share your location via the bot. Never collected automatically.
• Voice messages: Transcribed via OpenAI Whisper, then processed as text. Audio is not stored permanently.
• Photos: Photos sent during active jobs are stored for documentation. Photos sent for device detection are processed but not permanently stored.
• Documents: PDFs you upload are stored in the knowledge base to improve AI responses.

2. How We Use Your Data

• Provide and improve the ArklyTech service
• Deliver AI-powered troubleshooting and device information
• Track job history and photo documentation
• Generate anonymous usage analytics
• Send daily tips and service notifications (opt-in)

3. Data Sharing

We do not sell your data. We share data only with:

• OpenAI: Text queries and voice transcriptions are sent to OpenAI's API for processing. OpenAI's data usage policy applies.
• Lemon Squeezy: Subscription billing data is processed by Lemon Squeezy. Their privacy policy applies.
• Your team: Location sharing is only sent to team members you explicitly choose.

4. Data Retention

• Usage events are automatically purged after 90 days.
• Job records and photos are retained until you delete them or request account deletion.
• Subscription data is retained for billing compliance.

5. Your Rights

• Data deletion: Send /deleteme to the bot at any time to permanently delete all your data — usage history, subscriber record, jobs, suggestions, and subscription info.
• Data access: Contact us at contact@arklysolutions.com to request a copy of your data.
• Opt out: You can stop using the bot at any time. Block it on Telegram to prevent further data collection.

6. Security

• API keys are stored in encrypted configuration files, never in source code.
• Webhook communications are signature-verified.
• PDF uploads are validated (file type, size limits, content verification).
• User input is sanitized to prevent injection attacks.
• Access to the bot can be restricted to authorized users only.
