The rules for using ArklyTech, in plain language.
Last updated: September 11, 2026
By creating an account or using the ArklyTech app or website (the "Service"), provided by Arkly Solutions LLC ("we", "us", "our"), you agree to these Terms. If you are using the Service on behalf of a company, you confirm you are authorised to bind it. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
ArklyTech is a subscription mobile application for access control and locksmith technicians. It provides a catalogue of 370+ devices with wiring, installation notes, common issues and documents; AI-assisted troubleshooting, code questions, wiring plans, photo identification and installation review; guided help for 14 access control platforms; reference libraries and safety tips; a curated field-supply store; and team management with roles and billing. It is available for Android, with iOS in preparation. Content and features may change as the Service develops.
Creating a team starts a 7-day free trial of every feature, with up to 10 seats, and no payment details are required. One trial per email address. When the trial ends, a paid plan is required to keep using the AI features, photo identification, diagrams, wiring plans, the Learn libraries and the Store. The device catalogue remains available (see section 7). Technicians who join an existing team are covered by that team's plan and do not receive a separate trial.
The seat count includes the owner. The owner manages the plan and billing; managers can invite, promote, demote, flag apprentices and remove members. Removing a member ends their access immediately. A team cannot exceed its seats; the invite code stops working when the team is full. If the owner's account is deleted, or a refund or payment dispute is granted, the team is dissolved and members are notified.
If the trial ends without a plan, or a plan is cancelled or fails to renew beyond the grace period, the team's access to paid features stops. The device catalogue — search, device cards, wiring, installation notes, common issues and the plain-text export — remains available to team members, because a technician should not lose reference material mid-job. We may withdraw this courtesy for accounts that abuse it.
To keep the Service fast and affordable for everyone, AI features are subject to per-person daily limits (currently 50 AI questions, 50 photo or voice actions and 100 spoken replies) and each team has a monthly AI allowance that comes with its plan. Limits are shown in the app and may be adjusted with notice.
You agree not to:
Troubleshooting steps, code answers, wiring plans, photo identifications and installation reviews are generated by AI models working from the device catalogue and manufacturer documentation. They are provided for reference only. They can be incomplete or wrong. You are the licensed professional on site. Verify wiring, ratings and life-safety requirements against the manufacturer's current documentation and the applicable codes, and confirm code questions with the authority having jurisdiction before you rely on them. Never energise a circuit on the strength of an app.
You keep ownership of what you submit — questions, photos, voice notes, corrections, team details. You grant us the licence needed to operate the Service (store, process, display to you and your team, send to our providers to produce answers). Corrections and ratings you submit may be used to improve the catalogue for all users. Our handling of personal data is described in the privacy policy.
The Service, its software, design, catalogue structure, generated diagrams and reference libraries are owned by Arkly Solutions LLC or its licensors. Manufacturer documentation, names and logos remain the property of their owners and are used for identification and reference; ArklyTech is not affiliated with or endorsed by any manufacturer. The Store contains affiliate links to third-party retailers; their terms govern any purchase.
We aim for the Service to be available at all times but do not guarantee it. We may suspend it for maintenance or to protect it, and may change or discontinue features. Offline device cards are provided as a convenience and may not reflect the latest catalogue changes.
You may delete your account at any time from Settings (see Delete your account). We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms, with notice where practical. On termination, sections 10–17 survive.
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and accuracy of content. We do not warrant that the catalogue is complete or current for any specific device or that AI output is correct.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Arkly Solutions LLC will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, data or business, arising from your use of or inability to use the Service, including reliance on AI output. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for the Service in the 12 months before the claim arose. Some jurisdictions do not allow these limits; where they do not, our liability is limited to the extent the law allows.
You will indemnify us against claims arising from your breach of these Terms or your use of the Service in violation of law or third-party rights.
We may update these Terms. Material changes will be announced in the app or by email at least 14 days before they take effect. Continuing to use the Service after that date is acceptance of the new Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Miami-Dade County, Florida, and you consent to their jurisdiction.
